A test bench for HP thermal printing units (HP-82143, HP-82162, Topcat)

Dear All,

for anyone who dares to repair an HP thermal printing unit that was installed in the HP-82143A, HP-82162A and the Topcat desktop machines, I have developed a test bench that can be used to test the paper transport mechanism without having to completely assemble the printer and install it in the housing. The article is available in German and English in the article forum.

Thanks! I was quite confused and did not know the 'Article Forum' was a thing. I saw the original post (with links). And then it seemed to pop up again as another new post without links. I was just not paying enough attention.
