Thats one of the reasons why it became this product!

Taking all that into account, IMO the mathematical features of WP34C should remain always have higher priority than a possible UNDO or LastXY function, because in practice it is not so often used. To be honest, in my RPN history, I think I didn't use f LastX very often to correct mistyping, I used it sometimes in programs as an additional register, its just an old feature, that HP invented nearly from the beginning.
