I have three scans of the document thanks to a couple of forum members. If neither one of them answers you post, as the credit should go to them, I'll post copies.

Hy Sylvain,

I'm new in this forum, and new on the HP-71 (4 years) ... I do many calculation (in Basic - I did Basic many years on a Sharp PC1600) on this calculator (most things are faster than to start my PC and EXCEL, some things are not possible in EXCEL) and now owning an AMPI Stat-Module. The link you provided in your mail is broken. Could you provide a link once again? I would be very happy - so I can make use of the program in a better way.

Thanks in advance and best regards from Austria
Erwin

Hi,

thank you very much ... this copy is very helpful for me. Yes the PC1600 has a big display but over the years it's getting very hard to read - I think cause of degeneration. I think the HP-71 should have a small external display on the HP-IL bus ... that would Bussi Erwin great.
Thanks a lot for providing the copy :-)

best regards
Erwin

RE: HP 71B - Ampi Statistics
Hallo,

I am a new proud owner of a HP-71B and interesting in the owner book for the AMPI Statistics Modul. It ist not part of the archiv I get from this side and the links above are all broken.

Please, it is possible for someone to post a link to this pdf. I have allready manage to load the rom-file in a 32kRam modul. Thank you very much

Wickipedia say the HP-71B is made from 1984 to 1989. On the back of my device is this: USA 3001A00176.

Well, I was going to point to the HP-71B Compendium for a link to the manual, but it looks like that will have to wait for an update.

In the mean time the manual can be downloaded here.

Your 1990 model is interesting, it may have been a factory replacement. Can you post some pics?

Your 71 may be the Last 71B.

I am really sorry about the state of the HP-71B Compendium, I never expected to spend so much time on the 41CL update project.
I should have some time in the beginning of next year, after finishing the 41CL update manual, to add the missing manuals in the web pages, update the PDF version, etc.

In the mean time, I have made available the HP-82489-90001 AMPI Statistics Manual. (it is a scan copy of my original manual)
Follow this link HP-71B COMPENDIUM (Part 4 of 4), go to the HP-82489A AMPI Statistics section and click on the manual link to get it!
Happy reading!

Best regards,

Sylvain

Wow, it don't take weeks or days to become an answer, only hours. And now I have the choice of two different scan of the AMPI Statistics Library manual. This is a great place in the www.

Thank you Sylvain for your pdf and all the HP-71B ROM Images in PART 1 of the HP-71B COMPENDIUM.
