RE: "VIGA C" now for HP Prime! (Preview)
Uauh!! I'M REALLY IMPRESSED. One of the most desireable programs I was waiting for. I 'm recieving good news in a short time: eqlib/ solvesys from han and now this. Edwin Córdoba should be proud of your friend, as much as me. Counting the days of the release. Greetings from a civil engineer from spain.

Edit: if your friend accepts a suggestion, in the case of continous beams, the program will be more versatile if you can edit/ ask for distances between supports, in case of different distances, and not equal lenghts like it seems to appear now. I cannot avoid comparing to Vigag, and the mixture of this wonderful graphic environment and the power of Vigag would be perfect. In a second or third release, it should be nice allowing to insert ball joints, slides or springs.

Edit2: I´ve also watched videos of 2D frames calculus! My dreams are coming true!! I´ll stay tuned.

This time just want to share the preview of a new program called "VIGA C" a friend of mine is developing right now, I think he's doing an amazing work! and soon he will release a fully funtional version, I thought it might be interesting because of the way he uses the graphical interface. I think We can all learn something out of this prog.

I would've killed for a program like this when taking all those mechanical engineering courses so many years ago! Great work!

Hello,

This looks fantastic!
It took me a while to even realize that this magnificent UI was running on Prime!
Great job!

RE: .......
Here's the developer's page, he might know better than me when it is going to be available, in fact there are a couple of developers I just found out about, they also are working on Viga programs (they look very promising).

Developer #1: Carlos Ismael Campos Guerra. (Chimbote, Perú)

Developer#2: Robert Marlindo Ramirez Quispe.

Developer#3: H&WLabs PV

I hope one of these make it thru, and share their great Apps with Us some day, or let's start learning in a deeper level the HPPPL language.
