HP printer font
Hi all,
Attached is a printer font for HP printer such as HP-19c These are the list of characters it has... Same Characters 0-9 A-Z % * + - . / < > = ? e i Space Special Characters b - XBar d - Down arrow l - <= m - Superscript -1 n - Not equal to q - Superscript squared r - Right arrow s - Square root u - Up arrow v - Divide w - Swap arrows x - multiply z - Sigma I cannot work out why there is such a big spacing between lines, so I will have to try and find out. cheers Tony |

RE: HP printer font
Thanks! I just used it in documentation of a program. I makes the printer output documented stand out.

If you add a lowercase a, b, c and d it would also match the HP97. ;-) But, without having examined the metrics, it looks like this not a fixed width font. For instance, take a look at the spaces. Is this intended? I think all characters of such a printer font should have the same width. Dieter |

After replacing the spaces with another character (e.g. the dot) everything aligns nicely. Compared to the original printout the characters only could be a bit taller, I think. But that's a minor issue. (10-31-2016 12:10 PM)teenix Wrote: Added a b c d e Great, thank you. Now I downloaded the font file at http://www.teenix.org/HPprinter.ttf but I still get the same characters: f and g yield a small non-serif f and g, there is no a...d and the space has a different width. "d" is the down-arrow and "b" gives x-bar. So it seems to be the old version of the font file although the file sizes are different. ?!? Dieter |

I uploaded again this morning and even though I didn't change anything, the file sizes were different. It was probably me. I was driving the fuel tanker all day yesterday and some exhaust fumes leak into the cabin so by the end of the day things get a bit weird. Hopefully the boss fixes it soon. I downloaded and installed it just now and seems ok. cheers Tony |
