Hello,

To update that 2015 firmware, you will need to run the con kit on a PC. Unfortunately, the update tool is not available on mac.

Although I work for the HP calculator group, the views and opinions I post here are my own. I do not speak for HP.

RE: New Version: 2016.12.08 1.3.1.11226 [UPDATED]
How did I end here...?
I have the latest CK and VC on windows 7 & 10 since these updates were live.
Both of them on these separate machines, I have to start them 3times to have it working.
VC will crash 2times before it ends up loading the right apps and programs.
CK crashes every time I try to do work on VC.
if I get both to stabilize I can't restore my backups....
if I connect my Prime calculate to CK it crashes....if I get to work by starting multiple times I can't backup nor restore.

I finally had to load the Connectivity kit from the CD that came with the calculator. Then everything worked, and I have the new firmware.

What is the update that could be installed on your calculator? Is it version 11226 or 10637?

I believe the latest version on real Primes (as opposed to the emulated Primes) is 10637.

Yes thanks, it seems like this is so, hopefully soon be ready for the Prime an update. I know that it is perhaps asking too much right now, but it would be nice if the HP Prime could then have an implementation in some language like LUA or another and be able to someday use a physics engine like Chipmunk, which allows to make games and programs very Powerful with physical magnitudes and simulations. See the following link Physics Engine

Hello,

About what topic are you talking about Eried?

Oh... It is the new version of the virtual prime skin included in this updated version. Old one allowed the user to press apps using the F1 key. The new one shares that key with the "help" so it presses the Apps key and opens the help pdf at the same time

The file on the ftp site for HP_Prime_Virtual_Calculator_2016_12_08.exe will not complete the download. It stops at 110 MB. Is there another source for download?

edit: http://www.hpcalc.org/details/7468 has a good link: http://www.hpcalc.org/prime/pc/HP_Prime_..._12_08.exe
