Voyager battery cover
One of my Voyager series calculators is missing a battery cover. Does anybody know where I could find one? A 3D printing outfit perhaps?
Edit: at a reasonable price. Edit 2: found someone searching for a 12c battery cover in the forum - best ( and cheapest ) route is to just buy a 12c off eBay. Ha ha ... funny. Thanks. Steve HP11C, HP12C, HP15C, HP16C, HP25, HP32S, HP33C, HP41CV, DM42, HP46, HP65 |

RE: Voyager battery cover
I bought an 11C missing its batt cover and turns out that’s just what I did. Bought a worn but functional (as it turns out) 12c for $7. As a bonus it came with new batteries. Best price for a bat cover I found was around $15 I think.
HP 11C, 12C, 15C, DM15L, 42S, 48S, 50G, TI-89, Casio FX7000GA and a ton of slide rules. WTB: DM42 |

Maybe some of mine have been donors
The two HP 12C calculators that I most recently acquired were both missing the battery covers. If the best source is to buy up even more of them and keep swapping them around, maybe I'll just have to make some covers of my own.

I admit that $40 is a bit much for a 3-cell battery cover, but I don't think $10 is outrageous for a coin cell cover. Perhaps buying a 12C from eBay is a cheaper solution - here's one with bidding starting at $1 (plus shipping). Alternatively, I'm all for 3D-printed parts. You might ask Nate Martin to create models of the battery covers. Dave |

RE: Voyager battery cover
Sorry for the shameless plug:
http://www.thecalculatorstore.com/HP12C-battery-cover 3D printed (with a HP MultiJet Fusion machine, BTW), very good quality and fits perfect. There are pictures there. |

RE: Voyager battery cover
There are some designs on Thingiverse for Voyager 3xLR44 battery covers if you want to have a go at 3D printing one.
