XROM for SIROM vs. EXT-IL Plus
Hi all,

I'm on the latest CL Flash update from December.

I've been searching the well documented SIROM Blueprint on TOS and was under the impression that the SIROM XROM code was 24 as confirmed by the 41CL Memory reference document.

Trying to plug the EXT-IL PLUS ROM (XROM 27), I got an XROM conflict.

According to this thread,, EXT-IL PLUS ROM XROM should be 27.

CHKSYS and subsequent ROMLST show a conflict on XROM 27 with SIROM/EXT-IL PLUS both listed as using 27.

Is it just me or can somebody else reproduce this ?

Thanks

Etienne

The mem_ref is in error. SIROM is XROM 27. Sorry.

RE: XROM for SIROM vs. EXT-IL Plus
Thanks Monte,

No worries at all.

The SIROM Blueprint on TOS apparently kept referring to XROM #24.

I need it to be 24 so I'll change it from 27 to 24 by editing the ROM.

Best

Etienne

Unfortunately that alone won't work, as there are multiple dependencies in XROM calls using #27 for id, notably SILOOP itself. So the change would need to include those as well.

I don't remember changing the XROM id# revision for the SIROM but you're right the "blueprint" on TOS has #24 for id. Note however that it's dated 2012, that's quite some time ago... I should submit the current one for posting there.

Best,
ÁM

Hi Ángel,

Thanks for the information. This goes indeed beyond my YPOKEing abilities.

I will find another compatible solver package.

Thank you anyway for the always interesting Blueprints.

Best
