How Can I transfer Windows XP Old Backup (.bkf) files to Windows 2007?
Microsoft organization has ceased (closed) support section for windows XP (Ntbackup utility) users. Thereby, windows XP user cannot restore old BKF data in windows 2007 operating system. Therefore I am searching best tool for restoring old windows XP BKF data in windows 2007 OS. If any person knows about any software or application which move or restore windows XP BKF files in Win7 so please share here that application information.

Although you are probably in the wrong place for this, you can probably solve this issue by instaling Virtual XP mode on your WIn-7 (it must be Win-7 Pro) and this will let you run XP's backup program to restore the data in the .BKF backup files. I would suggest looking elsewhere if you need assistance installing Virtual XP mode. If you have Win-7 Home, this will not work, sorry.

Spammers usually try to rack up forum posts to be able to post links. Off-topic stuff like this is a dead giveaway. I reported this as spam this morning.

You guys are too darn friendly and helpful Wink
