Quake
Hi all,

While reading this mornings posts, my chair started to shake and I thought a large truck was coming down the road. Then the whole house started shaking for about 15 seconds. I haven't felt this around here ever.

Awesome.

cheers

Tony

RE: Quake
I'm glad it was only cool and entertaining, and no one (in your home) was hurt.

They are quite weird the first time you feel one. By the time you process and figure out what it is, it's over, so very little or usually no time to "enjoy" it.

RE: Quake
Since I live in a quite "shaking" country I have felt this a few times during my life, in different grades.
Breathtaking, and you never get used to it, luckily.

And there I was thinking someone had managed to get Quake running on a calculator...

There are only 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't.

Hello!

That was my first thought as well when I saw the thread title :-) Although I have difficulties to really remember that game after so many years.

And regarding the real quakes, so far I have been spared from larger ones. Some minor ones lasting a few seconds, both in my time in Italy and now in southern Germany, but nothing to get scared about.

Regards
Max

I must admit this was my first thought too... One of the best games ever IMHO. Both of my kids game today with skills first honed as scouts over my shoulder keeping an eye out for monsters...

This thread reminded me I still need to buy that Quake rerelease for Switch.
