RE: Halt & Catch Fire
Most processors I have encountered allow for immediate operands and system 370 even has an execute instruction.

RE: Halt & Catch Fire
I run a user group (MARCH -- Mid-Atlantic Retro Computing Hobbyists). We supplied the vintage computers for the HCF television show. (We also supplied most of the computers for "The Americans" on FX, and for a couple of other TV shows that I can't discuss because they are not yet announced.)

Happy to answer any questions that HP Forum users may have about this .... to the extent that I am allowed ... NDAs and stuff. Sad
