Mt Diablo Surveyors Historical Society
Today, at the San Ramon (California) Kite Festival, as unlikely as it was, a display of classic HPs caught my eye... it was a booth of the Mt Diablo Surveyors Historical Society, displaying old surveyor's transit levels and old slide rules, a Curta calculator, and a few old HPs (see picture)

It reminded me of the discussions with Den on how HP calculators and talented programmers contributed so much to the surveyor profession

The festival is still on tomorrow if you want to have a chance to see their displays or talk to them. They have a permanent display at the Contra Costa County Public Works Department (check some pictures on their webiste: http://www.mdshs.org/)
