I'm doing this off the top of my head, so it will probably have problems.
Let's call the triangles A and B. First, see if any of lines in A intersects any of the lines in B. If they do then the triangles intersect. Otherwise they might still intersect, but it would be the special case where one triangle in enclosed within the other. If they do intersect, the intersection could have between 3 and 6 sides I believe. |
