Multiplication is simple in binary:

0 * 0 = 0
0 * 1 = 0
1 * 0 = 0
1 * 1 = 1

Basically, just an AND gate.

Then you need to shift and add everything....

And HP calculators work in decimal anyway, not binary. Smile
