Indeed, there is something wrong here. The 44 digits of PI are:
3.1415926535897932384626433832795028841971693

3.1415926535897824578569270670413970947265625 ?

The last quoted result is acceptable only for 48-bits of mantissa...
Perhaps the 'dec' program mix CAS and HOME specific functions?
