Hi Tony, nice to meet you,
thanks for your reply, all the connectors have been cleaned, all the holes have been cleaned so the black you see is just a reflection of the flash. PROBLEM1 I do agree that the Hybrid could have suffered damage because of the soldering, but I'm using a 30W soldering iron, which I have been successfully used for many other projects, so it would be difficult. I have a couple of untested Hybrid so I may as well swap them and see if it gets better As for PROBLEM2, I don't know what to say, the keyboard PCB is all clean, and yes pressing keys cause more leds to light on. However in this case the cPU module is good, so I'm more thinking about the cathode and anode drivers on the keyboard PCB, do you know how I could check them ?
