I wish the site would remain; however, regarding its methods, I think it is quite unadmirable that someone would take measures to keep this information from being disseminated far and wide to help keep these machines alive. That leaves a bad taste in my mouth! So now he's shutting it down and doesn't even want Wayback Machine backups?! On a forum that's focused on the main thrust of my own site, I have asked people to back it up occasionally so the service to the community is not lost should anything happen to me; and a few have done so.
