Hello Albert, Thomas and Bruce,
thank you for straight forward thinking and helping. @Thomas, now I understand your procedure. You normalized each element of the list the time for one meter distance, so you take always 5 elements, so you get the needed time for every 5 meters. 5 meters divided by this time is the average speed. @Albert, yes another possibility to solöve the problem, thank you. @Bruce, how Albert wrote, there is a missing list {1 1 3}. I don't now wether your algorithm has this problem, too or not. If I've my RPL program I will share it, of course. |
