RE: Top three calculators ?
These are the 3 machines I use (almost daily):
- i41CX+ on my iPad and iPhone (to paraphrase Steve Jobs "the best calculator is the one you have with you all the time"); the HP82143 printer emulator is excellent and combined with the build-in GPS functions lets you do incredible things (e.g. showing off a 'speed/time-graph' to a colleague on the Eurostar to London @ 300 km/h) - HP-41CX with PANAME+3421 CONTROL ROM (@home on my workbench controlling all my equipment via HP-IL/HP-IB), sadly my CCD ROM fights with the PANAME over ROM ID#9 --> soon to be solved by my 41CL when I find the time - HP-16C (for easy HEX and BIN conversions) I own(ed) most of the HP Calculators and others like Ti59+PC100, but since I'm addicted to RPN and don't need graphing machines, I always find myself going back to the 3 above ... PS: that doesn't mean I don't get my old 32E, 11C, 71B or 48SX, ... out of the closet once in a while for a test drive ! regards, GVHOVE |
