Thanks Han. As usual, you have a deep understanding of this topic and are also able to explain it with great clarity. So, PPL is a compiler rather than an interpreter, such as with Basic, and once a source code has been compiler it remains so until opened again for editing, correct ? Are non-exported variables effectively the same as dummy variables, where the variable names are just compiled pointers within the program ? I guess I still can't get used to data being saved in this manner, having spend most of my life programming in FORTRAN and RPL.
