Battery Issues

Tony, I'm mainly hoping to learn if simply trying a new battery pack will solve all issues; but if the calculators are already damaged (not likely), that'd be money down the drain. That may be the best path though. I can't identify the battery type without opening up the pack which would render it useless for sure, and I'm not keen on attempting a 4.5 volts supply anyway. I may just order one new pack to see if both calculators are still OK; I can always order a second pack if need be.
