My Portable PLUS prototype has the necessary interface connector, but I've been unable to find an interface.

So, an interesting problem you have.

If you'd like to lend me one of your interfaces and cable I'll investigate the issue. I have a 82912A monitor which I find works better with the vintage video interfaces.
