Maybe the best way to proceed with the domain of FU is to let the function handle the out of bounds values, ie by returning 9E99, then the NMO routine keeps simple and will avoid those regions.
I should try this. I also tried (x+1)^2+(y+1)^2, it worked perfectly! |
