"Counting in their heads" - 1895 oil painting
There's a mental arithmetic challenge in this painting - see below for a plain rendering.

The challenge is - and I have run this through my own brain, and it's not unfair:

Which is to say, calculate (10²+11²+12²+13²+14²)/365

It's hardly worth noting that this is very easy with a calculator.
