More precisely, it jumps one screenful of lines, but the number of lines depends on which font the flag browser is using, which you can set at the top of the MODE DISP screen. There are 4 font sizes that the flag browser can use: FONT8, FONT7, FONT6, and the minifont (which is selected by setting flag -90).

If you want it to have any effect on the menus, use system flag number -117 (negative), not user flag number 117 (positive).
