HP-71B Newbie Questions.

I use Eneloops exclusively on my two 71B's. According to measurements made on my own 71B, voltage levels at the card reader power pins for various battery & charger sources are

Charger - 5.55V
Fresh NiMH - 5.38V
Fresh Eveready Gold - 6.04V

I'd be surprised if the problem lies with the NiMH cells unless they're old and close to charge cycle exhaustion. Try measuring them first.
