Sequence and curve on same plot

Sequence and curve on same plot
Is there any way of plotting a sequence (one of the form U(N) like in the sequence app) and a smooth curve (just a usual F(X)) on the same plot? I tried using plotseq but it seems to be the wrong type of sequence.
