The friday night before the conference, we all huddled in and around Jack's garage, doing "calc things" :-) At one point, a handful of us were in Wes Staples' RV, working with Ron Johnson's new HP-85, generating HP-41 barcodes on the '85 thermal printer. Later in the garage, I remember asking Bill Wickes to look at some "weird" HP-41 instruction and he investigated it for quite a while, concluding that it was some sort of 'Q-loader'. Jim De Arras was showing off his hand-built breadboarded HP-41 memory expansion board. And on and on.... Fun times!
