Hi Tony, You are right. I checked again my interpretation of the HP-19C code. And indeed the HP-19C does use the pik home? 1120 and pik cr? 1220 instructions at startup only if "Continuous Memory" is corrupted and "Error" shall be printed. Therefore an automatic PIK induced "MovetoHome" at power up is also performed, which is not triggered by software. This escaped my attention. Then at the moment only the PIK is confirmed to work.
