Casio FX-602P vs fx-4000P, different results

FX-602P :
sqrt 2 = 1.414213562
this result ^2 gives 2.

fx-4000P:
sqrt 2 = 1.414213562
this result ^2 gives 1.999999999

I just tried it on my fx 4000 and it also gave 2 ( sqrt 2 EXE , ^2 EXE)

I don't have a real 602P to test with. A 602P emulator on my phone also gave 2 but that does not say anything.
