Interesting thought. I think it solves half the problem - the wish to publish without the clutter of various conversations following. But it doesn't solve the other half - the wish to get positive feedback about the post and the work behind it.

It feels to me that if you want a conversation, you need to allow for, and facilitate, and encourage a conversation.
