thank you for the excellent technical explanation. I'll think it over and might implement the "self calibrating" approach to decode the redeye protocol in a more robust way.

And, yes, yesterday evening after stumbling across some rom images in the woods I also leared that for the 28S emulation I'd better use the EMU42 software...
