As Bob mentioned, the HP-92 is really nice financial model that is similar in several ways to the HP-12C. The October 1977 edition of HP Journal has a nice article on the HP-92.

A very nice (Windows) emulator for the HP-92 is available at the http://www.teenix.org website.

As a side note, Dr. William Kahan worked on some of the financial algorithms for the HP-27, HP-92 and HP-12C. He had a lot to say about how well the HP-92 worked. He also strongly disagreed with the initial price that marketing decided they could charge for this model.

His work with the HP-92 starts on page 149 of the following interview from 2005.
