Hello!
Thank you for creating and posting these videos! I just finished watching Jef Ongena's talk about reverse engineering and repairing an old Japanese desktop calculator. Absolutely impressive work! I happen to have the same calculator here (although with a front label "abc 850" and a sticker on the back with the company name "Tokyo Electronic Application Laboratory Ltd.") that I bought on a flea market many years ago. It does not work and in the near future I will probably not have the time to try and fix it, but this talk gives me hope that maybe one day I will see the calculator working again! Regards Max |
