I'm using OS X (10.9) with default font sizes in Chrome. So from what I can tell, it appears the text within the code block itself (not the title of the box) is slightly larger than the running text.

Edit: Testing with Safari and it appears differently (more what I expected -- that the fonts are of the same size). So it's a Chrome issue, possibly. Are you able to adjust the "codeblack" class within the relevant stylesheet? Perhaps one could add a few more "fall-back" fonts for the fixed-width classes? I looked into my Chrome settings and I have Courier specified as my fixed-width font. I suspect the stylesheet definitions are over-riding my browser settings.
