Yeah, that's kind of a strange design. I would have expected that to be in the Tools menu.

And slight correction to my previous post: the fx-991EX will also retain stat data when powered off, but it clears the data if you switch modes. Meaning you have to power it off while still in stat mode if you want to keep the data. Now on the CW, the stat data stays until you clear it.
