(That is, if it offers anything more than the 32Sii in terms of functions: the official HP blurb suggests the 35S had "over 100 functions" whereas the DM32 is advertised as having 171 functions, not all of which are accessible directly from the keyboard of course, but it would be good to know how many of the 171 are not available on the 35S, for instance.) No problem I am considering adding the DM32 and DM42 to the comparison table since they are physical calculators. At the moment, the DM 32 is a complete simulation of the HP-32SII with the following enhancements: * Larger multi-line display with multiple fonts (shows all 4 stack registers plus time/date). * 34-digit mantissa precision (exponent ±6145). * USB-C connectivity to internal mass storage device. * A calculator multi-state system allows switching between virtual calculators. * Onboard hypertext help file. * Much faster performance (approximately 100X program speed). * Much more memory for program/equation storage (439 kB vs 384 bytes). SwissMicros has a nice table of the DM32 enhancements over the legacy HP-32SII in their on-line DM32 User Manual. https://technical.swissmicros.com/dm32/d...y_hp_32sii |
