Dumb question of the day - What word length do you use here? It seems to be important (or I’m not getting the idea)

Most of the resulting values will end in 'A' (except those that have an 'F' or 'F' in the result (in HEX mode), the rest will end with 'A').

Same if you start with 61 (5B), most will end with 'B'.
But I have never seen 'A' or 'B' (or other hex digit) in the middle of the value, only at the end (and then only 'A' or 'B').
