Not that I'm aware of, but you could certainly write a very small program that calculates a matrix using formulas for each element and stores it into one of the matrix variables. Then call that program to update the matrix.

It wouldn't need to be anything fancy, just a single line to calculate and store the matrix, e.g.:

[[2X-3,5X+1][6X-7,4X+2]]->Mat A
