I think replacing SHIFT EXE with EXE would have output 1/4 (i.e. Ans/2).

So they changed SHIFT EXE to evaluate the expression like EXE does, rather than merely display the current result in a different format.

I think you now need to use the FORMAT menu to display the current result in a different format. This is one of those areas where doing anything on the CW involves far more keystrokes than on the EX!
