I was testing nuclear weapon components for neutron sensitivity to check for fratricide issues.

"Or are you just a nuc physics fan and want to see Cherenkov radiation?"
More of a science fiction fan / science geek, where Cherenkov radiation pops up occasionally, so it became something I wanted to see.
