The DM41X does exactly the same for your test below.

I had already tried simple tests just to show both geese in a simple program.

V41 doesn't work either.

So which emulators handle this correctly and what is required to fix the others (ie what is the case not being handled so others can fix their emulators)?

These (otherwise excellent) emulators are displaying '1234567891' instead and so are failing for this special case, indeed.
