I was thinking about adding a ticket for this to the bug tracker, but the online Python math docs do describe, e.g., math.sin(x) as returning the sine of x radians. (Possibly, longer term, there could / should be a reconciliation of the Python and PPL arithmetics.)

I don't think any settings in HOME have something to do with Python. No bug, surprise
