Suggest you simply remove the screw from the door when you have access to a proper small screwdriver. The screw is not needed to hold the door on (the same door didn't need one from 2011 'til today, right?) and was only added as some countries the unit will be sold in require such devices to have retained doors to prevent children from 'accidentally' swallowing the 2032 batteries.
