Indeed, Giuseppe's replies are always thorough, clear and impressive.This small jewel was new to me "Since each element is tagged with the respective port number, and since the HP-48GX offers automatic list-processing, you can use the result of PVARS as an argument to both DETACH and PURGE, if you want to wipe everything in that port."
