HP-IL has been in use in the HP 5890 Series of Gas Chromatograph under the name of "INET", long after the end of the HP-IL for calculators.
For long, spare boards for these products were a source of HP-IL components.

I selected the transformer based on Hans Brueggemann's measurements, see here.
