I'll wait for the official release of 2.2 because I really can't be bothered to download each of the files in the firmware package individually.

I just updated mine, and while I’m not sure how easy the process is on PCs, it was straightforward on macOS. I simply unzipped the download, renamed the folder to "PrimeG2," and replaced the existing PrimeG2 folder in the firmware directory. After that, I performed the update. The process was simple, though once installed, it does display "BETA" in the top left corner of the screen.
