HP9114b Test Light

I acquired a "non-tested" 9114B a few weeks ago, and mainly bought it because it had two battery packs with it. I was going to give the 9114B unit the 'ole "deep-six", but decided to pop a disk in and see what happened. Got a "Disk Error", so formatted the disk with that unit and it worked fine.

Yesterday I was using it to back up some programs, powered it off, then about an hour later turned the power back on and - nuttin'... No head movement or response from the unit at all, just the TEST light staying on.

I pulled the cover off briefly referencing the service manual on the 9114A, but there are differences between the two. The B model has one jumper, but a dip switch selector where the jumpers are on the A model that select self-diagnostic mode.

Does anyone know where a service manual for the 9114B (like the one for the A model on this sight) might be had? Since I wasn't planning to have this unit operating (I have two that are), I might just play with the dip switch selectors and see if I can get the thing into diagnostic mode. Thx[/b]
