The oddity comes from the fact that the only new thing in the last couple of betas is the functions that convert the numbers to strings to be displayed. I am writing my own double -> string function cause printf() with floating point support takes too much memory. So the actual floating point numbers on the stack are correct and the different operations work as before, but these bugs in my own printf are causing the issues that you saw.
