Just to be clear, you mean like this? Dual setup (corrected for interval use): R1 - R2 = (3±4ε) - (5±6ε) → -2 ± (4+6)ε = -2 ± 10ε R1 / R2 = (3±4ε) / (5±6ε) → (3/5) * (1 ± (4/3+6/5)ε) ≈ 0.6 ± 1.52ε Square root of the sum of the squares (i.e. hypot): R1 - R2 = (3±4ε) - (5±6ε) → -2 ± hypot(4,6)*ε ≈ -2 ± 7.21ε R1 / R2 = (3±4ε) / (5±6ε) → (3/5) * (1 ± hypot(4/3,6/5)*ε) ≈ 0.6 ± 1.08ε |
